The posters will be displayed in the halls for World Wildlife Day on March 3rd.
Today you will take the information that you researched about your endangered species and will make a poster to display in the hallways for World Wildlife Day on March 3rd. Your poster should be nice and neat and colored. It should include information about your species that informs others about your species.
Posters should include: *picture of species *common name AND scientific name *habitat *reproduction facts *impacts that led to endangerment *conservation efforts *interesting information Hello Students!
This week we are going to be working on a 3 day long project looking at endangered species across the globe. Each student will be completing a research assignment that answers various questions about their species. Once they have compiled ALL their research they will assemble a poster that displays all this information. Each student will choose either one of the species provided on the information cards on the tables OR choose one species from the World Wildlife Website. Here the students will find various species listed as Endangered, Critically Endangered or Vulnerable. The video goes with our environmental issues unit and talks about the re-introduction of wolves in Yellowstone and the programs successes and struggles. We continued with our Cane Toad assignment. Look at the scanned article pages from yesterday's post for the information to read. Open Google Classroom and Click on Cane Toads Day 2 to answer the questions for today.

Instructions: 1. Open Google Classroom and find the assignment titled, "Cane Toad Day One" 2. Click on the Google Form 2. Use the reading provided on the website OR in paper form to answer the questions. We were outside DOING science today!
