We used our engineering skills to protect a pringle! Each group was given supplies to build a contraption to protect a pringle from a 1 kg weight being dropped on it. Most of the students thought there was NO way anything would work, but we did have some groups prove them wrong! Fun activity! The Suspects Who Had the Opportunity? An Afternoon Treat We used the One Hour Mystery, Miss Moneybags, to think like detectives today. This mystery took students to the Moneybags mansion where they will uncover the culprit who stole the dying woman's last will. They will discover clues by solving a variety of logic puzzles, each providing a key to the mystery's solution. The students put their hand in a box and used evidence to describe the item inside. Lab Safety Test We watched a lab safety video today. The video gave us the information we will use for the Lab Safety Test that we will be taking tomorrow. If you were absent, review the Lab Safety Contract to prepare yourself for the test. Remember the test needs to be passed with 100% before you will be able to participate in labs.
